The Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia, announced that an art activities event was held for all ages in the community.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Nov. 19, the Neighborhood Church said that the Creative Connections is a time for art crafters of different ages and skill levels to come together in the community.

According to the post, the participants held a meeting once a month, and the next meeting was on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church said they work on projects together, including the sensory library, which was located in the sanctuary for wiggly worshippers.

The Neighborhood Church said the participants are always welcome to bring an individual project they have been working on personally.

It added that creativity is welcome in the place.

The church also advised the participants to enter the orange door on the bottom floor to find the group's place.

New Church in Atlanta

According to its website, the Neighborhood Church is a new church in Atlanta, Georgia.

The church clarified that this is not a church that tries to figure everything out.

The Neighborhood Church also admitted that many discussions, inquiries, and hours were spent sitting in the discomfort of life's complexities.

Everyone is seeking to figure out life together, according to the Neighborhood Church. It is also considered that the church can play a part in this in a different way than many others.

The church was built from the ground up to represent Jesus' love in a "ground-breaking, life-changing, and real" fashion.

The church's website stated that the primary goal is to restore ties with God and community. The church also said that it supports LGBTQ+ persons and opposes racism.

According to the Neighborhood Church, people should not have to go through life alone or afraid.

It highlighted that experiencing life's natural richness and wholeness necessitates the involvement of others, and they believe it involves a community.

Justice Work

The Neighborhood Church has urged people to get involved in social justice efforts.

The Neighborhood Church said in a Facebook post on Friday, Nov. 5, that even if the public did not worship the church, there are still many ways to be considered a part of the church community.

One method, according to the church's message, is to participate in its justice efforts.

The church stated that it's focusing on a different type of justice issue. It said that now is the time to start planning the church's plans for 2022.

The Neighborhood Church invites the public to dream alongside the church on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. to hear, discern, and respond to the group's objective of "working for people's healing via relationship with God and community."

Lunch and coffee will be provided for anyone interested, according to the church.

Participants are encouraged to sign up if they are interested.
