Help students from our community get the supplies that they need when they return to school this fall. Serving people is the heart of One Boston Church! You can help invest in the next generation and learn about who we are at the same time. You are invited to an evening of service and vision alongside the launch team for One Boston Church. On Friday, August 19th, join us at the Curtis Hall Community Center in Jamaica Plain for an informational meeting to explore how you can play a part of bringing one Boston Church to life.
What is One Boston Church: One Boston Church is a new church launching in Boston this fall. We believe that everyone needs a place to BELONG, that everyone needs to BELIEVE in and follow Jesus, and that everyone needs to BECOME everything that God designed them to be.
Update: Over the past 10 weeks, pockets of hope and engagement have started to emerge all over the city including East Boston, Somerville, Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park, Dorchester, Southie, Roslindale, Braintree, and Mattapan. The first ongoing community group launched 2 weeks ago in Charlestown.
Venue: As one of the Boston Centers for Youth and Families, Curtis Hall is the perfect location to gather and hear all about the future of One Boston Church. Located right between the Loring Greenough House and the Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library, it is an easy walk from the Green Street T Station.
Logistics & Parking: There is metered street parking and a city lot two blocks north off of Centre & Burroughs Streets. The venue is an easy walk from the Green Street T station on the Orange Line.
