Brockton Church of God of Prophecy's 50th +2 Anniversary Celebration

The church's official Eventbrite page confirmed the upcoming 50th +2 anniversary celebration event. The gathering is scheduled for Sept. 24, starting at exactly 4 p.m. EDT.

The event will be held at The Converge Center, which is located at 1367 Main Street, Brockton, MA.

As reported, parents no longer have to worry about leaving their kids at home as the COGOP's 50th +2 anniversary celebration allows kids to join the event.

However, it is cited that participants still need to buy their tickets separately. Adult tickets cost $50 each. Meanwhile, the children's tickets are $35 each.

When it comes to speakers, Evelyn Gardiner, a senior pastor at the Brockton Church of God of Prophecy, will reportedly attend the celebration.

On the other hand, COGOP was also able to invite Bishop Dr. Philip Boone, one of the senior pastors at the church and also leads the Cathedral of Higher Praise. He will serve as one of the speakers at the event, as well.

As explained on the page, the Brockton Church of God of Prophecy will refund the tickets of those who will not be able to attend the 50th +2 anniversary gathering once they buy a ticket.

Brockton COGOP's Belief

On its website, the Church of God of Prophecy explained that the church and its members believe in the Holy Trinity, which states that there is only one God, eternally existing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

"We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father. All things were made through Him and for Him. He is true God and true man," said COGOP via its official website.

The religious organization added that people could have salvation if they only believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sake.

COGOP added that people's bodies, minds, and souls could all be healed through the Lord's blood and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Right now, the Brockton Church of God of Prophecy is still sharing its belief with its loyal members, as well as those who are new to the religious group.

As mentioned on the website, COGOP has more than 10,000 churches spread across 125 nations in the world. The ministry was first established in 1903 by a then-young pastor named A.J. Tomlinson.

After that, the church moved its headquarters to Cleveland, Tennessee, where it is still located today.
