A single mother from Uxbridge, Massachusetts, is seeking help from everyone after the death of her teenage son, who got into a car accident. A GoFundMe is already available for anyone who wants to donate to the local family.

'He Loved God'

As per the WCVB report, on Saturday, Aug. 7, an 18-year-old teen was inside a 2019 Acura ILX car model when the car crashed into a tree and rolled over, causing his life at stake. He died at about 9:05 p.m.

The teenager was identified as Jacob Osanya from Uxbridge, Massachusetts. According to the report, the 18-year-old was with four adults at the time of the accident. He was seated in the front seat passenger side.

Luckily for his friends, all four adults, including the 18-year-old driver, were saved and transferred to Umass Memorial Medical Center. They are still being treated for 'serious but non-life-threatening injuries.'

Beatrice Amollo, the mother of Jacob, said that her son was a loving kid and a person who 'loved God.' Before the accident, Jacob was reportedly an outgoing kid who was always there for everyone who needed him.

As reported, all four adults, including Jacob, were friends from Milford High School. The only difference was the 18-year-old Gabriel Dias De Holanda, who came from Bellingham.

Richard McNulty, a neighbor, said to the report that the car crash was 'awful' that turned the vehicle into a ball.

Cause of Accident

According to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette report, many local officials are already looking into the case, especially with the cause of the car crash. Members of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) Collision Reconstruction Team, Worcester District Attorney's Office's investigators, and the local police in Upton— where the incident happened— are reportedly examining the case and the scene of the accident.

It was explained in the report that Jacob was the only one who was not able to get himself out of the vehicle. The rest of the party removed themselves from the car.

First responders said they could only get Jacob out of the vehicle through "extensive extrication." No additional information was said about the incident.

GoFundMe Page for Jacob Osanya

A GoFundMe page for Jacob Osanya is already activated on the fundraising platform to allow anyone to donate to the family. As explained, the money that will be collected from GoFundMe will be allocated to the funeral expenses for the 18-year-old.

The caption on the page provided further information about Jacob. It was said that the Uxbridge teen had always looked up to his mother for raising him in America, even without a father. Jacob was also passionate about music and was described as one of the most hardworking and ambitious people they had ever met.

So far, as of this writing, the GoFundMe page has already raised over $23,000 from more than 400 people who donated. The family of Jacob said that the target amount for the donations is $50,000 to cover all the necessary expenses.
