This introductory workshop, “Connecting Children with God,” will give you a sample of how parents, grandparents, teachers and ministry leaders can approach nurturing the spiritual lives of children in a formational way. During our two hours together we will share how a formational approach differs from the traditional educational approach and why a transformational change is so desperately needed. You will encounter a relational, interactive approach which is formational in content and practice, and offers opportunities for incremental engagement. Rather than lecture, we will discuss, share ideas, and practice ways to interact with children so that they learn to know God, not just learn about God. Come and catch a glimpse of how Transforming KidZ Ministry can nurture your soul and help children fall deeply in love with Jesus.
