Legend Community Church invites its female members to the monthly Women’s Group event on Saturday, Aug. 13, in Montgomery.

The church’s announcement mentioned that the event would be held throughout the summer to give a chance for their ladies to have fellowship. They would be held at Stacie’s house, one of the female members at the Legend Community Church.

As further noted on the website, the group could also help them build stronger relationships.

During the gathering, women could also share conversations to deepen their connection.

The church stated that it would be an enjoyable evening for games and knowing more about their churchmates.

Conceived to Build Community

The church’s About section revealed that their primary motivation was to build a community defined by Jesus rather than the doctrine.

As further explained, the church comprises individuals from various social and economic backgrounds.

The website added that some people came from different cultures and religious environments.

However, the website said that regardless of their members’ differences, they are united in pursuing Jesus as His followers.

As the church stated, members could have biblical teachings, and community groups focused on Jesus.

By this, the congregation at Legend Community Church has more excellent room for maturity and great conversation.

Legend Community Church's Story

Moreover, they noted that the Legend Community Church was developed in late 2006.  Jason and Justin had a bible study at a church they were serving.

The website said that it became clear to them that God called them to establish a church in Oakley. They have spent years praying and seeking advice from elders.

According to the same website, Legend Community Church began gathering at Oakley Community and Recreation Center in 2007.

The church emphasized that they gather in the city space, allowing them to hold special programs for their neighborhood.

Besides, they gather in houses and coffee shops around the area. In 2017, the church revealed that they relocated to Artsville in Madisonville, Cincinnati.

Participating in Women's Center

As part of the church’s initiatives, the women members of the Legend Community Church work with the Eve Center.

The section said they serve women who experienced different kinds of abuse and traumatic suffering.

The Eve Center website revealed that they are a group of passionate women who desires to share hope, healing, and maturity with other ladies. They provide free biblical counseling and training as posted on the website.

The same website stressed that Eve Center already served a thousand clients in 2021.

The center also trained over 400 volunteers who spent 30,000 in 2022 to help them to achieve their mission.

As posted on the website, one of their clients expressed her gratitude for the Eve Center’s efforts in helping her heal from her painful situation.

She said that she had already forgiven those who had caused her pain.

She also acknowledges her shortcomings. Now she said she has hope because of Eve Center’s program. The client also thanked the center for accommodating her.

The client said the women were friendly, from her intake interview to weekly appointments.

“Because you exist, I am a different person now,” the client stated on the website.
