The Crossing Church in Batavia, OH, will hold the Celebrate Recovery event for those struggling with addiction, depression, and other mental health issues on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate Recovery

The Crossing Church stated that it's a Christ-centered service for people with addictions to anything from alcohol and drugs to shopping and food.

Anger, lack of self-control, a need to be perfect, a lack of self-esteem, and a haughty attitude are just some of the issues that Celebrate Recovery aim to address.

According to the church announcement, everyone above the age of 18 is encouraged to attend.

Also, men and women have distinct ways of processing information, so when they get together, men talk to other men and women talk to other women.

Celebrate Recovery is a supportive environment in which individuals can locate a community and gain liberation from the problems that are dictating the course of their lives.

They also assured the participants that there is no need for them to be concerned because no one will attempt to mend or heal them because it is not the role that they play.

They believe that Jesus, as the supreme Healer, is the one the Celebrate Recovery program looks to for guidance in the world.

About The Crossing Church

The Crossing Church is a non-denominational church that may be found on the east side of Cincinnati.

They invite all individuals who do not currently belong to a church that they may consider their spiritual home, The Crossing would be thrilled to have them join both online and in-person on Sundays.

According to the church, their children are welcome to worship with them at the family-friendly service that begins at 9:00 a.m., but there will not be a separate service for children held during the worship session itself.

However, The Crossing Church will have children's services for ages birth through fifth grade for the 10:45 a.m. service, in addition to their student ministry for grades 6 through 12.

Even if some attendees are not yet prepared to reconnect in person, they will nonetheless be livestreaming their services on Facebook and YouTube beginning at 9 a.m.

Crossing Kids, Student Ministry

Kids as young as infants and as old as fifth graders have the opportunity to learn about the Bible in an environment that is stimulating, secure, and relevant.

The lessons are presented in an imaginative manner that is geared toward children and teens of their age group.

The Crossing works hard to ensure that each service is not just enjoyable, but also meaningful.

It ensures that their child will not only have a great time with other children of a similar age, but will also have the opportunity to encounter the love and truth of God on a weekly basis.

Meanwhile, the purpose of The Crossing Student Ministry is to provide a secure environment in which children in sixth grade through twelfth grade can feel like they belong, become, and have the courage to be bold in their faith in Jesus.

The Crossing desires for them to be aware that they are welcome and that regardless of whether or not they have a personal relationship with Jesus, this is a secure environment in which they can feel at ease.
