JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Professional Development, is responsible for the overall coordination of training to include the creation of the block calendar, identifying and scheduling staff trainers, and managing the PD training room schedule. Provides administrative coordination for the day-to-day department activities: orientation, professional development (internal and external), and mandatory retraining. Conducts training as directed by the Director of Professional Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create the block calendar that provides for the quarterly and annual training needs of Catholic Charities employees.
Provide support for professional development trainers including class reminders, space/materials preparation, and paperwork collection.
Provide training, including LMS training and other courses commensurate with skills and knowledge such as CPR, First Aide, Cultural Competence and Communication, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (CPI), Ethical Decision Making, and Characteristics and Needs of Individuals Served (trainer training provided).
Serve as professional development registrar, including customer service (LMS helpdesk) and LMS system management (class loading, registration, and class closing based on class sign-in sheets). Maintain training documentation.
Respond to LMS help desk requests and document learner course completion within the LMS.
Create compliance reports to include but not limited to: CPR/FA, CPI, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Program Training Orientation Checklists.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in a relevant field.
Two (2) years’ experience in a learning and development, curriculum, or human capital work environment, ideally in a social services or behavioral health setting.
Experience with Sumtotal GeoLearning learning management system preferred.
Experience teaching or public speaking preferred.

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
