What looks like an ordinary photo has moved people on social media because of its heartwarming moment.

In a Facebook post, Denver resident Brian Sanchez shared a photo of a moment between a homeless man and a child. The photo was reportedly taken during a breakfast distribution event at Denver Community Church.

"Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is overwhelmingly powerful," Sanchez wrote in the Discover Colorado Facebook group.

Sanchez said that he witnessed the "genuine conversation" between Charlie, a homeless man, and a young volunteer. He said it happened while they were giving out breakfast and socks to some of the unhoused communities in Denver.

He noted the urge to capture the moment as he felt the genuine connection between the two.

"No judgment, no stigmas, no fear, no hate, no agenda…just love, wonder, compassion, and joy. This is what life is all about," he added.

No Fear, Pretensions

In an interview with Denver 7, Sanchez said he was in awe of what he witnessed and decided to share it on social media.

"They are just talking and engaged in conversation," Sanchez said.

"The smile on each of their faces, I was like, I gotta get a picture of this. This is the basic fundamentals of humanity. There is no judgment, there is no fear, there's nothing other than two humans interacting," he added.

Sanchez was reportedly a part of a charitable organization called Faith in Denver. The group recently started a "Winter Clothing Drive" also for the benefit of the homeless people in Denver.

Denver Community Church

According to its official website, a group of people started Denver Community Church (DCC) in 2001. The group felt a need to plant a church in Denver that would involve the community.

DCC reportedly aims to explore and participate in Jesus's life to provide a healing presence to the world.

Currently, the church offers worship services every Sunday at 9 a.m and 11 a.m. They also stream the 9 a.m. service through its official Facebook page.

DCC is headed by Lead Pastor Michael Hidalgo and Executive Pastor Jon Gettings.

Bus Stop Ministries

According to Denver 7, the church gives away free breakfast to the homeless population every Tuesday. They have reportedly been serving meals to the unhoused community in the past two decades.

As per DCC, this effort is part of its Bus Stop Ministries. Aside from distributing healthy breakfast at 7 a.m, the church also shares prayers and sermons to the people experiencing homelessness.

Bus Stop Ministries is reportedly designed to implement a "one person at a time" principle. It means they prioritize relationships and forming friendships.

"The ministry prides itself on providing delicious morning meals as we're called to 'love our neighbor as ourselves' and not simply provide leftovers," the DCC YouTube page reads.

After sharing breakfast, the community walks together to Network Coffee House for an in-depth Bible study.

The ministry has also helped over 120 men and women transition out of homelessness.
