Why Join Event

According to the same website, the University of Colorado's Fellowship of Catholic University Students or FOCUS invites everyone to its 16th "An Evening with St. Therese" auction and benefit.

The event reportedly aims to raise funds. The money they will be getting will be able to help CU students to attend SEEK23, FOCUS Retreats, FOCUS Mission Trips, and other events at no cost to them.

As per the website, these possibilities provide students with transformative encounters rich in inspiring Catholic speakers, meaningful prayer, community, and service.

Many students reportedly find that these kinds of experiences change their lives, but the events are reportedly expensive. For instance, SEEK23 costs an average of $800 per student, including transportation and registration.

The organizers hope to make it possible for the students to take advantage of these beautiful chances to develop their character traits and leadership abilities to live an extraordinary life for Christ.

About FOCUS

According to Focus' website, FOCUS is a Catholic collegiate outreach that reportedly conveys the hope and joy of the gospel to college and university students.

The website explained that the FOCUS missionaries approach students in a 'friendly' manner, welcome them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and accompany them as they strive to live morally upright lives.

Students reportedly receive discipleship, evangelizing, sacred Scripture, prayer, and church doctrine training.

As per the FOCUS, missionaries encourage and strengthen students in their faith through Bible studies, outreach activities, mission trips, and discipleship before sending them forth to share the gospel and carry out the Great Commission.

According to Mt. 28:19, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations."
