The Great Commission Alliance will soon launch its 'Best Facts Apologetics Conference' happening on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Littleton Bible Chapel. Those who wish to join the gathering can now register on its Eventbrite page.

Best Facts Apologetics Conference

According to Eventbrite, the conference has the goal of answering people's questions about Christianity and being able to share people's beliefs.

Many people reportedly had a hard time expressing their beliefs because they felt scared about the thought of being confronted with questions they were unable to address.

As per the same website, the Best Facts Apologetics Conference organized by the Great Commissions Alliance will provide the attendees with factual information that will enable them to respond to typical challenges to the Christian faith.

In addition, Josh McDowell, The Great Commission Alliance, and Brady Cone are among the speakers at this event.

The conference will go into deeper detail on the tangible proof for the reliability of the Bible, the evidence that God exists, and the reasons for trusting the Bible.

Lastly, participants will be able to discover how to gently and respectfully share the gospel with the LGBTQ community. Participants will also have a chance to ask questions at the end of the conference.

History of Littleton Bible Chapel

According to Littleton Bible Chapel's website, a Sunday School was held in the Littleton YMCA on Sunday morning in 1962 by a group of around 30 Christians.

As reported, a group of men gathered on Sunday evenings at Herb and Alice Banks' home for prayer in order to seek the Lord's guidance on how to start a local church with regular services. Later that year, the group reportedly became Littleton Bible Chapel.

For around six years, the church reportedly assembled on Sundays at the Littleton YMCA and Mark Hopkins Elementary School in the middle of the week in the Banks' basement.

As the church expanded, the congregation bought the current location in 1968. The church's first structure was reportedly opened in 1969 with only 125 members at the time.

As per the same website, in 1976, the church decided to create a lower level beneath the east gymnasium. In May 1985, the sizable expansion to the church's original structure's northwest side was finished.

With this extension, the overall space more than doubled and was made available for sporting events, a Sunday school room, an office, an expanded theater with 325 seats, and two gymnasiums.

According to the church, to reduce traffic between services, a foyer enlargement was reportedly finished in 1999.

Each week, approximately 650 individuals, both adults, and children, reportedly attend the services.

As per the same website, to enable the continued growth of the church and the gospel, a second facility was reportedly opened in Littleton in 2014 as the first step toward founding a second church.

In 2018, another planted church was launched in Colorado named Lakewood Bible Chapel, located in Lakewood, Colorado, a few miles away from Littleton and Denver.
