'Achieve the Dream'

Houston Chronicle reported on the four-day event that started on Thursday, Aug. 4, until Sunday, Aug. 7, in Houston's Green House International Church.

The event reportedly featured speakers who became homeowners because of the program.

According to NACA's page, the event invited homebuyers, homeowners, and renters. Also, it provided social, health, and human services, financial assistance, and government assistance during the event.

"Achieve the Dream" helped low-income people learn about everything they needed when buying their first homes. It also assisted them with all the processes by streamlining the loan process and putting it together.

The Houston Chronicle report said that for first-time attendees, the event held a three-hour English and Spanish workshop on the fundamentals of homeownership. After the workshop, attendees received a "NACA ID" that they used for the event.
