Lake Houston Brewery to host benefit event for Providence Community Church

The Lake Houston Brewery is holding a benefit event for the Providence Community Church and plans to create a new building.

'For the Good'

The Lake Houston Brewery announced on Facebook that it is working with the Providence Community Church for a benefit event for the church's Build Initiative, to be held on Friday, Aug. 26. 

According to the brewery, the event will feature food and plenty of music for anyone who enjoys country and southern rock. There is also a cornhole tournament that people can join for the recreational tournament and a $75 fee for those who want to participate in the professional tournament.

The event is $20 for general admission, $15 for members of PCC, and free for children 12 years old and below.

Families and friends can also get a VIP table for $100.

The announcement said that the event will also hold a silent auction that features a signed guitar by Roger Creager.

Providence Community Church

The Providence Community Church is a church that follows Philippians 3:7-11, the passage that reportedly puts importance above anything else in knowing Jesus Christ. It talks about learning more about God, becoming like him, and everlasting life.

According to its page, the church desires to be intimate with God, dream with God, and live from the Gospel. It also wants to become a champion for the people as it strives to create a community that honors God and celebrates greatness.

Community is important for the church, and it has welcome lunches with the pastors and leaders of the church. Also, it has started groups for people looking to learn more about the church and the family.

Apart from that, the church also has community groups and ministries for people to join.

As for ministries, the church has a group for men, women, teenagers, and children. It also has ministries that are all about helping the church and helping the community.

The church has a roster of pastors led by Ptr. Nathan Herndon.

According to the church, the pastor is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. Together with his wife, Adrienne Herndon, he finished his Master's Degree at Lancaster Bible College.

Prior to his post in PCC, he served the Grove Bible Fellowship and the Christ's American Baptist Church.

Lake Houston Brewery is a craft brewery and restaurant in Huffman, Texas, that offers grain-to-glass craft beer, delicious food, and live music.

Roger Creager

Roger Creager is an award-winning Texan country singer who has been singing since he was six.

He graduated from Sam Houston State University before heading to Aggieland to play his music. Eventually, he created the Roger Creager Band and his own publishing company, No Cable Music.

According to CMT, the singer is the recipient of the 2001 Texas Music Awards Entertainer of the year. He is known for his songs "I Got the Guns," "Everclear," and "Having Fun All Wrong."

The page said that the singer is goal-oriented and is constantly in pursuit of clearing his goals and making more.
