Abolish Abortion Texas is holding a 'Church Leaders Conference' in Houston.

Church Leaders Conference

According to its Facebook announcement, the organization is holding the one-day conference from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19.

The event said that it is up to the churches to lead the fight against abortion and that it is the mission of the event to give the leaders what they need to do so.

The announcement said that attendees would learn about "the biblical response to abortion, how to preach about abortion, what the failures of the church have been over the last 49 years, and how to respond," among others, at the event.

Apart from all that, the conference is a way for other church leaders to meet each other to have a better network for the fight against abortion.

The event will feature Virgil Walker, Bill Ascol, Jeff Durbin, and more speakers.

It also has a three-man panel that includes Ps. Phil George, Jon Speed, and Brett Baggett.

The conference is free and open to everyone, regardless of official church title or lack thereof. Also, a boxed lunch is provided for everyone who RSVPs to the event.

Abolish Abortion Texas

The Abolish Abortion Texas Organization is dedicated to the abolishment of abortion in the state of Texas. The nonprofit organization follows its mandate by mobilizing Christians of the state to influence civil government.

The organization reportedly follows the Constitution, provides equal protection, and does everything in its power to not appease evil.

According to its page, there are over 55,000 abortions that occur in Texas every year.

Abolish Abortion Texas started in 2016 and continues to be the leading grassroots organization advocating the end of elective abortion in the state.

The page says that the organization has written and advocated for bills that would've abolished abortion. The organization works with Rep. Tony Tinderholt and Bryan Slaton for this purpose.
