Living Nativity Outdoor Walk

The community is invited to attend the Granite Creek Community Church for an evening that will be one that the whole family will remember. The evening will feature live performers, stunning settings, camels, sheep, and other animals in amazing scenes that will take the audience back over 2,000 years.

According to Patch, the Living Nativity is an outdoor walk-through tour that tells the story of the events leading up to the birth of Jesus Christ through a series of four live-action stages. The use of strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers is encouraged.

At the Granite Creek Community Church in Claremont, there will be performances of the Living Nativity every half hour nightly beginning on Thursday, Dec. 15, and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 18, this holiday season.

Attendees can sit outside on the patio equipped with fire pits and sell s'mores for a dollar each. The youth group at the local church will also collect donations in exchange for serving hot cocoa.

About Granite Creek Community Church

"Relationship, Not Religion" is the mission statement of Granite Creek Community Church. As opposed to following a set of rules and regulations, they make it a point to focus on maintaining a positive relationship with God and other people at all times. They include all aspects of themselves — spirit, soul, mind, and body — into their spiritual practice.

The Granite Creek Community Church has as its goal the spiritual upliftment of individuals, families, and communities.

According to the church's website, people who are a part of the Granite Creek family hail from the surrounding cities of Claremont, Upland, La Verne, Montclair, Pomona, Ontario, San Dimas, Chino, and Rancho Cucamonga.

They are warm-hearted, giving, creative, witty, intelligent, hard-working, outdoorsy, and empathetic toward animals. They also differ in terms of ethnicity, society, and economy.

Granite Creek is respectful of all Christian denominations and customs; nonetheless, they poke fun at Christian culture on occasion. Because they are convinced that neither the Republicans nor the Democrats will bring about the coming of the Kingdom of God, the members of Granite Creek try to avoid discussing politics.

Growth Groups at Granite Creek

They believe that the best method for individuals to get to know God and each other at Granite Creek is through various Growth Groups, where they may do so in a secure and encouraging environment where they can also be discipled and grow in their leadership abilities.

Everyone can feel at ease mingling with other Christians in a Growth Group. Granite Creek's goal is to learn more about God and how they fit into His plan. They have solid faith in the power of group dynamics to bring about positive personal transformation.

They also think that when individuals get together in groups with the common goals of seeking God, loving one another, and serving others, God shows up and does incredible things.
