Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow bares details on 'Rediscover Christianity,' invites everyone to attend worship services

The Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow in New York, a few miles away from New York City, will soon be having a 'Rediscover Christianity' event for those who are seeking a community to help them nurture their spiritual growth.

'Rediscover Christianity' Event Details

As per an Eventbrite post, the 'Rediscover Christianity' is an event for locals in New York to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and feast day of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.

The event will reportedly take place every Sunday of the month starting from Aug. 14 to Aug. 28, scheduled at 9:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow, 369 Green Ave.

As reported, evening prayer will also be offered every Saturday night and during the eve of feast days at 6 p.m.

The 'Rediscover Christianity' event aims to enlighten those seeking a community that will help them nurture their spiritual growth through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

However, the post emphasized that due to the tradition of the ancient canons, only Orthodox Christians are allowed to receive the Holy Eucharist and other sacraments offered by the church, as reported.

Still, other participants can participate in receiving the blessing of Jesus Christ through the Orthodox church.

The services that will be conducted will be led in English and will be streamed online via their Facebook page. Everyone is reportedly invited to worship and participate in the Sunday service of the church.

In addition, a coffee hour will be organized after the Divine Liturgy every Sunday. COVID-19 health and safety procedures are still required, as reported.
