Trinity Church Wall Street, Jazz House Kids to launch free professional jazz education, concert for children

The Trinity Church Wall Street has recently partnered with the Jazz House Kids to launch a free professional jazz education and concerts for children.

'Jazz House at Trinity,' to Launch Program for Children

In a press release posted by the Episcopal News Service, the 'Jazz House @ Trinity' is reportedly one of the programs of the Trinity Church Wall Street in partnership with the Jazz House Kids organization. 

It is reportedly a free professional jazz education and concert for children in the Trinity community that aims to provide access to gain knowledge from different styles of music and renowned musicians, as reported.

The church will reportedly open the enrollment of the program for 2022-2023 on Sept. 19 through the Trinity Youth group. 

Moreover, the Jazz House @ Trinity is reportedly under the Trinity Youth Afterschool that caters to children from Grades 6 to 12 to have access to musical training and jazz education and will expand in 2023.

As mentioned in the report, Jazz music will be highlighted in the program, for it reportedly represents America's art, story, and experience.

Rev. Michael Bird, the current vicar of Trinity Church Wall Street, said the congregation is excited to launch the program and thankful to be partnered with Jazz House Kids to provide free educational programming for young people in the community.

Accordingly, as reported, the programs will also organize a series of jazz concerts that will be played in public at the historic Episcopal churches for free.

In July, the Jazz House at Trinity reportedly organized a culminating performance at St. Paul's Chapel as part of the Trinity Youth Summer Jazz Ensemble.

The performers of the said event include Bruce Williams, Abel Mireles, LatiNext, Zoe Obadia, and Claudia Nketia.

Furthermore, the president of the Jazz House Kids said that they are excited to provide knowledge and develop the talents of the children in collaboration with the Trinity Church Wall Street, as reported.
