The Building Knowledge and Breaking Barriers exhibit spotlighted research projects by seven Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) students, with topics including the Black church, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, representative public art in Philadelphia, abolition and revolution, and white Christian attitudes toward Asian communities.
Guests will hear insights from student exhibit designers and enjoy the food and drink provided by PHS.

About Building Knowledge and Breaking Barriers:
Building Knowledge and Breaking Barriers is an archives-based learning project that brings educators, students, and student-support networks from the Community College of Philadelphia together with the material and staff resources of the Presbyterian Historical Society, a Philadelphia archive with over 500 years of history, to explore. The Pew Center has provided grant support for the project for Arts & Heritage.
