Circle of Peace Church holds lake trip for youth

Circle of Peace Church organized a lake trip for the youth. It invited 6th to 12th graders to join Youth Lake Day, which was held on Saturday, Sept. 17, from noon until 6 p.m. 

Youth Lake Day

Circle of Peace Church conducted Youth Lake Day. It gave details about the event through its website. According to the announcement, the church encouraged 6th to 12th graders to join in the event.

It was set for tubing at the lake. As shared on the website, the church provided food and drinks for all participants. 

Circle of Peace Church announced the group planned to carpool to the lake. It requested all to meet at the church by noon so that they can arrive at the lake before 1 p.m. 

The church planned on being on the water from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. It intended to be back at the church from 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The Circle of Peace Church stated that it would advise everyone if they end early and leave the site before 5 p.m.  

It required a fee of $20 per student. It instructed parents to fill out a waiver so students would be allowed to join. The Circle of Peace Church sent the waiver after registration.

All In Launch Party

According to the church’s website, Circle of Peace Church is building its new worship center. It stated that it is not only building the structure and leveling up the ministry of Circle. 

All In Launch Party is the beginning of the celebration of this milestone. It is scheduled on Friday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Its venue is the Rio Vista Rec Center in Peoria. 

There will be games for kids, fun for adults, and Tacos for everyone. The All In Launch Party is an opportunity to learn about the duration and cost of building the new worship center. 

Invited experts will answer questions regarding the new worship center. The Circle of Peace Church will welcome all to this event. 

As stated on the website, the church is one’s home. It encouraged volunteers to serve during the All In Launch Party.

As per its Facebook page, one can visit the church at 8430 Deer Valley Rd., Peoria. It introduces its faith community that welcomes all ages. 

Circle of Peace Church is a family-friendly and Bible-focused congregation. Furthermore, the church focuses on Jesus Christ and relationships.   

Sunday services happen at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. 

Jeremy Ashworth is the pastor at the Circle of Peace Church. According to the website, Ashworth lives to help people grow. 

Nate Istrate serves as the Youth Minister. Istrate is passionate about working with teenagers. 

Another event included on the church’s calendar is Movie Night. The Refugee Ministry hosted this gathering of families. It was held on Friday, Sept. 16, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church. 

The Circle of Peace Church had a Q and A session and discussion about the movie.
