Trunk or Treat

Mountain View Presbyterian Church announced its annual Trunk or Treat event on Facebook. It will host the gathering for kids.

There will be decorated trunks, a haunted house, a balloon artist, a photo booth, a cakewalk, and more.

The church is hopeful to see all at this year's Trunk or Treat. It is a free event for all.

Meal tickets are available for purchase at the event. Each ticket costs $5.

A meal includes hotdogs, chili, chips, and soda. This Trunk or Treat event was also included in the church's calendar of activities.

Mountain View Presbyterian Church will provide free ice cream. The church will partner with Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A) and will collect jean jackets. All are encouraged to bring any size of a jean jacket as a donation during the event.

Bikers Against Child Abuse

As per its website, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Inc.'s (BACA) mission is to create a safer environment for abused children. The organization exists as a group of bikers that empowers kids to be brave in the world they live in.

It is ready to support abused kids by involving them with an established and united organization. It works with local and state officials already in place to protect kids.

Adult Prayer Partner Luncheon

Mountain View Presbyterian Church announced the Adult Prayer Partner Luncheon's details on its website. It was held on Sunday, Oct. 2, from noon until 1 p.m.

The program aims to help create intergenerational relationships that everyone believes can make an enormous and lasting impact on kids. Mountain View Presbyterian Church encouraged parents who want their kids to be prayed for to work with MVPC adults this school year.

The church has its hands full in partnering kids with their prayer partners. It hopes that all kids will be a part of this program. Furthermore, it invited parents and their kids to attend the Adult Prayer Partner Luncheon.

The meeting will be in Meredith Hall at the church. Still, the church reminded everyone that attending the luncheon is not required to participate in the program.
