New City Church will host an "affordable" Christmas shopping spree for under-resourced families, especially children in Phoenix, in the first week of December.

According to its website, the church will also cater to families from its partnered organizations. It aims to provide high-quality gifts at a highly affordable price wrapped on-site and a kid's zone for children.

The website's events page added that the mission of New City Church is to make Christmas shopping a joyous experience for families, enabling them to buy the presents their kids want without having to worry about breaking the bank.

The post revealed that gifts for needy families or volunteer time are ways interested people can support this event.

Up through Monday, Dec. 5, New City Church will collect new gift contributions in their lobby. Toys, books, legos, dolls, games, electronics, makeup, jewelry, bikes, scooters, and $20 gift cards to stores like Target or Walmart are just a few examples of the items that people who want to donate can bring. These products are suitable for children between the ages of one and eighteen, page bared.

Additionally, the website also said that the church will not acc donated shoes, socks, and apparel would not be accepted.

New City Church said it will need volunteers to set up and price items for the event on Thursday, Dec. 8, the page said.

It added that volunteers are needed to staff the kid's area, gift-wrapping stations, and shopping areas on Saturday, Dec. 10.

According to its website, gift staging, and set up, kid's zone team, present wrapping team, hospitality, and gift purchasing are the available volunteer opportunities.

New City Church

New City Church aims to plant disciples who spread the gospel where they live, work, study, and play, as per its official website.

The church's about page said its community is situated in the center of Downtown Phoenix because it thinks it is essential for the gospel to reach people where culture is created,

Its site stated that New City Church aims to intersect the message of Jesus in the locations where people live, work, study, and play, much like certain cities do with art, politics, and business for the benefit of homes, neighborhoods, and the city.

On the other hand, the New City leaders strongly desire to share the gospel with the Phoenix community, investing their time and talents in worthwhile endeavors outside the church. Its staff was said to be dedicated to serving Jesus throughout life, the website revealed.

According to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, the page said that New City Church has a group of overseers (sometimes called "elders") who act as the church's check and balance.

The staff team runs New City Church daily, but the oversight team meets many times a year to examine the church's financial situation and pastoral health, the about page revealed.

Its oversight team approves the annual budget, handles all significant financial choices, and, if necessary, helps with staff oversight.

Per the church's leadership page, Oversight Team is now composed of Jose Vidal, Rawleigh Grove, Brian Kruckenberg, Brent Storms, Derek Turner, and Brent Storms.
