The Calvary Church in Alameda invites couples for their upcoming Marriage Night 2021. The event is set to happen on Oct. 23 from 4:30 to 8:00 in the evening.

Marriage Night 2021

A post from the church page said that happy and healthy marriages do not happen by chance. They necessitate hard effort and attention, but it's easy to become complacent with life's activity and cultural influences.

The church asked: What is marriage meant to look like once the first thrills have worn off and everyday problems and routines have set in?

The organizers are thrilled to inform couples about an upcoming great opportunity as they host Marriage Night 2021 and announce its invitation to all couples, according to the same page.

The post went on to say that Marriage Night will be on digital platforms and simulcast and presented by RightNow Media.

Attendees will receive expert advice and concepts for a long-lasting relationship and be encouraged to understand marriage for its true purpose: to praise God and spread the Gospel.

Marriage is meant to be more than just a happy ending. As per the post, it represents God's hope and salvation for a world in desperate need of help.

Tickets for Marriage Night are $35 per couple, and interested joiners can register by clicking on the REGISTER link.

Additionally, the post said that Marriage Night is a one-night activity for married and engaged partners to laugh and learn about glorifying God through their relationships with marriage professionals.

The post mentioned that guest speakers are J.D. and Veronica Greear, Aaron and Jamie Ivey, and Jonathan and Kanika Evans. Dustin Nickerson will provide entertainment, and the event is expected to be a night to remember for a long time.

About the Guest Speakers

As per the Marriage Night official page, they have prepared a lineup of marriage experts speaking at the event. They will offer critical points and essential learnings focused on God-centered relations.

The page stated that JD and Veronica Greear are listed as speakers for the event.

J.D. Greear is Raleigh-Durham's The Summit Church minister and was the Southern Baptist Convention's 62nd president. Between rearing their four children and ministering to The Summit's ladies, Veronica occasionally teaches.

The page also mentioned that the event would feature Jonathan and his wife, Kanina.

Jonathan Evans is a chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys, co-chaplain for the Dallas Mavericks, and author and speaker. Kanika is a UT Southwestern Medical Center graduate who assists in the raising of their five kids.

Finally, as per the same page, the third couple will be Aaron and Jamie Ivey.

Jamie Ivey is The Happy Hour Podcast's creator and host, and a blogger and published writer. Meanwhile, in Austin, Texas, Aaron is Austin Stone Community Church's worship pastor. They co-authored the book Complement.

As for the entertainment part, the event will showcase the talent of Dustin Nickerson.

He has appeared on Netflix, Comedy Central, and the PBS Comedy Hour. He can also be heard on Sirius Radio XM regularly. He's best recognized for his wholesome comedic approach and how he engages his audience with quips about parenting, marriage, and everyday life.
