About St. Ignatius Parish

St. Ignatius Parish said it will engage in the larger discourse about what it means to be a thriving and relevant parish in the Catholic Church in the United States in the 21st century by talking to the Holy Spirit and communicating with other Catholic faith communities.

According to the church’s website, St. Ignatius Parish is a growing community of believers who are committed to providing a setting in which everyone has the opportunity to be seen, to feel accepted, and to feel as though they belong.

They explore their own cultural values while remaining open to a variety of concepts, locations, races, genders, and sexual orientations.

They encourage and assist one another in their journey of faith, which is defined by devotion, prayer, theological study, and holiness. This path is grounded in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

Its objective includes bringing about social justice and structural change as a response to the love of God and the invitation to become a disciple that Jesus gave.

St. Ignatius gives opportunities to participate actively in the promotion of understanding and execution of social and environmental justice. These opportunities are informed by Catholic Social Teaching, which guides the institution.
