Shell has been married to Missy since 1986 and they have two wonderful children – a son, S.J., and a daughter, Summer Joy. On March 3, 2012, the Lord richly blessed us with an incredible daughter-in-law as S.J. married Tina Baumgart.

Shell has served as the Lead Pastor at LIFE CHURCH Smyrna since August, 2003. LIFE CHURCH Smyrna is the spiritual home to people from over 25 nations and countries of the world. Simply stated, the church exists for the purpose of “Loving God! Loving People! Loving Life!” By God’s grace and favor, LIFE CHURCH Smyrna is serving its community through more than thirty community partnerships such as schools, community service organizations, public safety personnel foundation, Scouting programs and more. In addition, LIFE CHURCH Smyrna maintains a global presence through partnering with seventy missionaries serving on every continent of the world.
