The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Cincinnati, OH supports and offers the Dementia Inclusive Cincinnati Initiative as part of its Health and Wellness Ministry. The project seeks to make the city more secure and friendly for those with dementia.
Church of Advent continues to host a food pantry and cafe for those hungry and lonely through its Open Door program every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. According to the church’s website, Open Door’s Just Food Project is the church’s response to the food scarcity in Walnut Hills.
River of Life Church in Cincinnati provides meals for more than 150 people every Saturday at 9 a.m. As a ministry of the church, Faith Food Pantry distributes food and household supplies to people living in Over the Rhine and in some of the communities that are located in the surrounding area.
Legend Community Church invites its female members to the monthly Women’s Group event on Saturday, Aug. 13, in Montgomery. The church’s announcement mentioned that the event would be held throughout the summer to give a chance for their ladies to have fellowship.
Westwood United Methodist Church (UMC) held a weekend program called Sunday Funday on Sunday, Aug. 7. The church’s Facebook page noted that their children's ministry led the worship and everyone had a great time.
