ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a clean, safe and nurturing environment for children
- Willingness to create and maintain a positive and team oriented work environment
- Follow schedule and expectations outlined by the director
- Help plan and execute planned activities
- Give daily reports to parents on each child and inform them of upcoming events
- Follow safety and security standards outlined in Safe Sanctuaries and Employee Handbook
COMPETENCIES * Ability to relate well with children and adults
- Ability to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to children
- Ability to teach young children.
REQUIREMENTS * A love and respect for young children
- A passion for enrichment and education in the Early Childhood years
- Previous childcare experience
- Reliable transportation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Able to handle walking, standing, bending or crouching for extended periods of time
- Able to lift and move up to 40lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Required to work in a noisy environment with many distractions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
