Overall Ministry/Discipleship Objectives:
- Collaborate with The Fountain Kid’s Director to create an engaging kids ministry that leads kids into a growing relationship with Jesus.
- Promote resources and other opportunities (events, curriculum, etc.) to help equip parents to lead their families and disciple their children.
Sunday Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup and operation of all related kid’s ministry environments on Sunday morning, including check-in/check-out, individual children’s environments.
- Ability to teach as a strong communicator for large group
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Engagement - Invite, train and empower volunteers to lead in Fountain Kids.
- Adapt and prepare curriculum for children ages 2 through 5th grades as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as determined.
- Help plan, organize, and implement summer programs/activities for kids as needed.
Personal Responsibilities:
- Maintain God ordained priorities and model the life of Jesus in all that you do.
- Champion the vision and staff of The Fountain Church and protect the unity of the church.
- Invest in and invite others in the community to know Jesus and visit The Fountain Church.
Experience:
- Prior children’s ministry experience as a staff member or volunteer using Orange Curriculum is a plus.
- Planning Center is used for volunteer scheduling.
