Salem Bible Church, a non-denominational, vision-minded church, is seeking a full-time Christian Education Pastor.
The Christian Education Pastor will assume a lead role in the day-to-day ministry operations of the church.
This candidate must be supportive of the Pastors’ vision and impart that vision to the congregation and Ministry leaders with integrity.
The candidate must also be willing to fellowship with and counsel members of the congregation. Above all, the candidate must be a person of strong moral character and an attitude that represents Christ and his church.
Christian Education Pastor:
· Must clearly demonstrate a high level of spiritual maturity.
· Must have a strong and consistent Biblical teaching ability and be able to effectively communicate God’s work in various settings including mid-week Bible Study and regular Worship Services.
· Must be under the direction of the Pastors and shall serve with the Pastors in fulfilling the pastoral ministry to the church.
· Must agree with the church’s core values.· Must be an enthusiastic, creative, and resourceful team member and leader who is willing to work with current respected staff.
· Must shepherd, guide, support, and develop Elders, Ministers and Ministry Leaders.
·Must be able to write, develop and implement curriculum. Writing examples are needed.
· Must have ministry experience in working with adults and the ability to compassionately counsel them on a personal and spiritual level.
· Must be self-directed and self-motivated with a history of success.
· Must possess a strong fervor for reaching the lost and help the church to reach thecommunity through evangelism and a variety of community service projects.
· Must be highly organized and can effectively manage multiple priorities and assignments.
· Preach and teach effectively as opportunities are given by the pastors.
· Must have proven interpersonal and conflict management skills and be able to make decisions in keeping with the vision and policies of the church.
· Oversee ministerial training, licensing, ordination, and appointments.
