JOB SUMMARY
Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church seeks a collaborative, patient, organized, and joyful individual who will partner with the Director of Communications to craft and implement internal and external church communication. The qualified applicant must have strong administrative and editing skills.
Digital Communications and Media
• Manage Facebook photo uploads and cover photo updates
• Maintain HIEC web pages, images, photo galleries, events, etc.
• Create and send weekly HI Lights & special e--blasts
• Edit, upload, and manage sermon audio and video with promotion on all social media outlets
• Coordinate with clergy/staff to create registration forms and promote on all pertinent media
• Work with Office Manager to manage A/V setup on campus for events
Signage & Promotions
• Creation, printing, and implementation of signage for events
• Manage electronic information throughout facility
Print Media
• Works with clergy on details for service bulletins
• Posts schedules, verger forms, etc. for the management of Sunday liturgies
• Produces weekly printed Sunday HI-Lights insert
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Professional in appearance and demeanor. Diplomatic communication style with many different people
- Excellent written and editing skills
- Ability to use or learn Adobe Suite for design, After Effects/Premiere/ProPresenter for video, and Webflow
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, ability to work with colleagues and constituents
- Ability to learn new programs and technologies as programs change
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
- Administrative precision and attention to detail
- Desire to work as a team member with the church staff
SALARY AND TERMS SUMMARY
- 30 hours per week with full medical and retirement benefits
- Compensation based on experience and ability
- Holidays and vacation are outlined in the HR Manual for the Church
