RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Write and review a wide scope of copy for both internal and external audiences, on behalf of multiple ministries, including but not limited to: webpage and form writing, emails, social media posts, video scripts, verbal announcements, print invitations and signage, pre-service and web. graphics, books/curriculum, app notifications, text messages, weekend message notes, etc.
- Ensure writing is biblically relevant and consistent with Victory's statement of faith.
- Determine what is compelling to target audiences and develop writing strategies based on this.
- Conceive, develop and produce effective copy.
- Collaborate with communications director, digital director, project manager and other copywriters.
- Work in tandem with various ministries to complete campaigns.
- Write clear and persuasive copy for all aforementioned means of communication.
- Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed, including checking for spelling and grammar errors.
- Respond to feedback in a timely manner.
- Work within tight deadlines.
- Monitor and revise content for consistency and effectiveness.
- Research and keep abreast of current events and trends.

Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ Years as a copywriter or as a communications specialist
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Familiarity with church marketing trends
- Flexible Schedule (Available nights and weekends)
- Reliable Transportation Required
- Proficient in Mac & Microsoft 365 applications
