PURPOSE
The Central Director of Security provides daily oversight and direction to the Life Safety Ministry operational processes and systems that support the key goals of the Victory Church. The overall goal of this position is to ensure the look and feel of ministry operations convey and uphold the vision of Victory Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to)
Serve as central department leader overseeing all aspects of campus safety and security including planning, examining, and evaluating departmental strategic direction and day-to-day operations of campus safety and security initiatives.
Works directly with the Operations Leadership on high level initiatives and specific security issues including purchasing, staffing and operational readiness.
Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Life Safety Staff Team while providing guidance and support for the Campus Security Volunteer Team Leads.
Advisor to Operations Leadership, provide intelligence briefings on all matters of risk, threat & criminal activity.
Serve as first point of contact for law enforcement criminal investigations, central threats and thefts impacting the organization, manages and maintains the Threat Management database in Arena of identified high-risk individuals.
Serve as first point of contact for third-party contract service providers, contracted security and law enforcement personnel.
Responsible for reviewing and maintaining internal incident and medical reporting processes. Reviews, approves, and forwards criminal reports for further review to Operations Leadership.
Oversee the programming, maintenance and deployment of Access Control Card Entry Program, CCTV systems, and Intrusion Detection systems, software and remote mobile apps, supports to Facility Services team with use and response to fire detection system alarms.
Support organizational initiatives by ensuring the effective planning, coordination and deployment of security and medical assets at large scale off-site events, camps, celebrations.
Facilitate training and development of Life Safety Ministry staff and volunteers for relevant classes quarterly firearms qualifications, active shooter response, first-aid/CPR, evacuation procedures, use of force, fire response, and conflict communication according to established laws, policies, procedures and practices.
Initiates personnel actions, unresolved work grievances or discipline measures to Employee Experience.
Conducts physical security assessments, preparation and development of preventative security programs.
Distributes and implements security manuals, emergency management and response plans, documents, and records at the direction of Leadership.
Responsible for campus security related traffic and parking lot processes administration and enforcement.
Assists in the facilitation of fire and evacuation drills and other campus wide drills.
SECURITY/ARMED SERVICES DUTIES:
Serves as armed member of the Pastoral Protection Team, providing close protection of pastors and special guests during services and special events.
Provide security escorts to financial personnel during regular collections and deposits.
Answer and respond to burglar and fire alarms, during or after regular business hours.
Serves in related areas as needed.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years’ similar experience in a large multi-site church environment is preferred.
3+ years’ experience serving in a security or law enforcement capacity
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Flexible Schedule (available weekends and evenings)
Reliable Transportation with valid Driver’s License
Ability to work in Microsoft Office 365 and Macintosh environments
Ability to work within Project Management systems
