POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Set-Up Technician will assist in room set up and take down for events, light furniture assembly/repairs, and general labor duties as needed for the purposes of ongoing building care and upkeep.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, events, classrooms, conferences, etc.
- Move office furniture, tables, chairs, for office moves, etc.
- Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
- Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required.
- Attend training sessions and seminars.
- Replace light bulbs, furniture assembly, etc. as needed.
- Other assigned tasks as requested
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a growing & mature, demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit a consistent Christ-like attitude and life.
- High school diploma required and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience.
- Above average ability to be flexible, be organized, manage time and set/shift priorities while meeting deadlines.
- A team player with the ability to cultivate a team spirit within the ministry area and throughout Church.
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, climb, push, pull, stoop, carry, etc.
