POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Set-Up Technician will assist in room set up and take down for events, light furniture assembly/repairs, and general labor duties as needed for the purposes of ongoing building care and upkeep.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, events, classrooms, conferences, etc.
  • Move office furniture, tables, chairs, for office moves, etc.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required.
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Replace light bulbs, furniture assembly, etc. as needed.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a growing & mature, demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit a consistent Christ-like attitude and life.
  • High school diploma required and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Above average ability to be flexible, be organized, manage time and set/shift priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • A team player with the ability to cultivate a team spirit within the ministry area and throughout Church.
  • Ability to lift, bend, walk, climb, push, pull, stoop, carry, etc.
