Description:
PURPOSE

As representative of Guest Experience (GE) ministry, serve the Director by providing Sunday service coordination and daily administrative support to the GE volunteer-based ministries, including Parking Lot, Shuttle, Curbside Assist, Translation, New Here, Greeters, Ushers, and Registration.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

Process volunteer applications, schedule leader interviews, and run background checks.
Coordinate and schedule Director’s one-on-one meetings with GE ministry leaders.
Manage all GE ministry information for the church management database, Eventbright website, and Planning Center Online.
Facilitate volunteer communication for team assignments, weekend services, and other events.
Host and coordinate all details for monthly New Volunteers Orientation events.
Conduct 90 day check-ins with all new volunteers to evaluate experiences and address issues.
Manage church supply of radios and related equipment.
Be the liaison to other ministries in preparation for weekend and special events/services.
Work with Director to schedule volunteer coverage for special events/services.
Serve as training manager for all volunteer ministry leads. Work with Director to implement “back to basics” training, vision casting, and leadership development.
Support volunteer ministry leaders and respond to requests as they arise.
Communicate upcoming weekend details and special instructions to the GE ministry leaders.
Serve as Service Coordinator during weekend and other special services as scheduled.
Prepare and confirm service flow for Pastors and volunteers for the weekend.
Create Hot Sheet for weekend to inform all Helps ministries of updates and important weekend details.
Monitor updates for service flow throughout weekend, communicating changes to Production, Guest Experience, Communicators, and Pastoral assistants as needed.
Lead transitions to overflow areas during weekend services.
Prepare weekend report and submit to Executive Pastor.
Complete service oversight reports, incidents and service counts as requested.
Responsible for scheduling, communication, and oversight of the weekend registration team.
Maintain and organize supplies for Registration and Check-in activities.
Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years office experience preferred.
Volunteer experience as a team member or leader preferred.
Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
Reliable transportation.
Knowledge of both Mac environment and Microsoft Office 360 software.
Knowledge of Planning Center Online.
