Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

· Associate degree required with at least three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

· Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel

· Subject Matter Expert in Payroll which requires evaluation of employee data.

Job Summary: Responsible for bi-weekly payroll using Workday Payroll/HR System for a population of 3000 plus employees on average; this includes but is not limited to data entry verification of pay and employee data. Follow appropriate internal processes and audits to ensure compliance and accurate payroll processing. Create reports and conducts analysis on data collected for internal and external projects.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

· Accurately process employees pay including special payments and retro payments.

· Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely.

· Interact with restaurant management and above restaurant operations management to rectify pay issues.

· Perform compliances for unclaimed payroll checks.

· Maintain ad hoc financial and operational reporting- Payroll Audits

· Provide telephone/email and fax support via the Employee Service Center.

· Calculate and process off cycle checks (bi-weekly) & special check requests. Review, edit and make corrections and adjustments as appropriate.

· Coordinate and manage hourly vacation payouts (in applicable states).

· Coordinate & manage vacation and sick payouts for all eligible employees via manual input in Workday system.

· Process deductions including Shoes for Crews, tax levies, benefits, etc

· Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.

· Provide internal support to Executive Teams, Human Resources, Legal, Real Estate, and Finance

· Assist Human Resources Department with Onboarding new employees

· Manage “One Source” OSV service tickets regarding stop payments, ACH reversals and other payroll related items.

· Assist with Implementation/roll-out of testing with new payroll systems and back office updates along with communication, troubleshooting and on-going testing.

· Responsible for Monthly Reporting to Department of Labor Multiple Worksite.

· Process Garnishments in Workday, submit garnishment answers to court.

· Partner with HRIS Manager/Workday Team to ensure cross-functional needs are met

· Resolve Payroll discrepancies and conduct audits to ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy

· Serve as back up to Sr. Payroll Specialist

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
