Job Summary
Knows and uses our CRM System fully to produce quarterly and monthly reports, select analysis, input constituent information, track relationship building of select donors, and assist Emergency Disaster Services with the input of corporate, individual, and foundation gift information. Assists the Territorial Development Director with all business, interactions, and meeting preparations related to the responsibilities of the Director: Resource Development, Planned Giving, Direct Mail/Marketing, Capital Campaigns, United Way, Service Extension, Advisory Organizations, including the Advisory Organizations School of Excellence, and the CRM System. Process invoices and payments; monitor and report any expenditure outside the approved budget. Assists the Territorial Development Director in securing space, refreshments, planning and implementing the bi-annual meeting of the Territorial Development Council; prepares for distribution of all collateral materials for these meetings. Arranges accommodations as needed. Assists the Territorial Development Director in the planning and implementation of Starting Point Orientation and various training and mentoring sessions provided to the Territory. Assists the Territorial Development Director by providing information and resources to the field; Works closely with the Office of Investments to process all requests for gifts of stock and mutual fund transfers; performs secretarial and clerical support work involved in the production and circulation of monthly and quarterly narrative and production reports; Assists the Territorial Development Director and senior staff of the Community Relations and Development Department in planning and coordinating all details associated with the Annual Resource Development Conference and the Territorial Community Relations and Development Conference. Serves as the recording secretary for the Resource Development Steering Committee and the Community Relations and Development Steering Committee. Serves as liaison to other divisions and territories approaching a foundation outside of their division/territory. Ensures the Resource Development Department office runs smoothly in the Director’s absence by responding to questions and forwarding information to the Director. Assists with special projects as requested. Maintains, updates, and distributes the Resource Development Manual.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of general office administration principles and practices, including database maintenance. Knowledge of desk-top publishing techniques and the principles and practices of layout and design. Knowledge of general office practices and principles. Ability to edit and proof articles for publication. Ability to prepare correspondence and financial reports accurately and completely. Ability to plan and prioritize work to ensure compliance with established deadlines. Ability to develop and maintain a well-organized filing system. Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Ability to type. Ability to operate office and desk-top publishing equipment. Ability to learn thoroughly the CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) System

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years’ experience in administrative support and secretarial work, with event planning and project managing. Experience in CRM (constituent relationship management system) helpful OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
A little physical effort is required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.). Work is performed in a typical office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
