Safety Services / Security Officer
Job Description
1. Greeting employees and visitor’s as they arrive on our property and providing directions on where different meetings and classes are located.
2. Walking the property to ensure no hazards, the doors are locked, and the facility is orderly and secure.
3. Follow opening and closing protocols, sweep the entire facility, inside and outside, looking for anything suspicious on the campus for morning and evening services, classes, or meetings.
4. Monitor the campus for physical safety, safe practices, and conditions during the assigned shift.
5. Assist in emergencies such as medical, fire, water or gas leak, power outage, missing child, or natural disaster.
6. Maintain professionalism at all times.
7. Document all incidents, large or small, and inform your supervisor of such events.
Requirements:
1. Flexibility, focus, and a strong work ethic are essential.
2. Ability to be respectful, discerning of confidentiality and privacy, responding diplomatically to inquiries.
3. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
4. Reliable transportation is required.
