OBJECTIVE

To grow the church by leading and growing Passion Students in DC, working with DC City Pastor and staff team to develop the gift of teaching. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as you play a pivotal role on the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide overall leadership to Passion Students and develop and execute a strategy for growth
Plan and oversee regular Passion Students gatherings and events
Oversee students' spiritual growth and discipleship
Lead team to recruit, train, and retain relevant Door Holders and develop appropriate organizational structure to maximize their effectiveness and accountability
Provide a point of contact to parents of students to maximize their comfort and confidence with Passion Students
Nurture and develop relationships with local school districts and other organizations as appropriate
Travel with DC City Pastor on occasion

Variable schedule, approximately 40 hours per week

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

Bachelor's degree required. Must have completed or currently be in pursuit of an advanced seminary degree. 2- 4 years of practical ministry experience. Leader of people with sharp social and organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead. Able to dream big, while being willing and able to formulate and execute the steps needed to accomplish the big vision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to disciple students. Demonstrated interest in developing into a teacher of the Word.
