Description:
PURPOSE

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and management of enterprise level IT infrastructure and solutions across multiple campuses. As a member of the IT Team, you will play an integral role in building and managing the IT infrastructure and tools used to aid in accomplishing the vision and mission of Victory Church.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

SA Engineering and Provisioning

Engineering of SA-related solutions for various Victory Church projects and operational needs.
Install, monitor, and support enterprise level LAN and wireless network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points, network servers and other related infrastructure.
Install and configure systems such as VPN, virtual machines, and MDM solution.
Configure, manage, and monitor cloud technologies such as Azure and AW.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Provide IT support, solutions, and expertise across various projects and initiatives.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

Operations and Support

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
Keeping Systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs
Troubleshoot network issues and outages that may arise at any of the campuses. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
Monitor any backup operations onsite and offsite, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up.
Create, change, and delete AD user accounts per request.
Assist with setting up workstations and office moves
Provide Tier II/III support per request from various departments and ministries.
Vendor interaction ensuring competencies and performance.

Maintenance

Apply Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Upgrade and configure system software that supports infrastructure applications.
Monitor and ensure proper operation and performance of Local Area Network.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science is preferred.
Flexible Schedule (Available Nights & Weekends)
Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMWare, or AWS is a definite PLUS.
Three plus years of system administration experience.
Reliable Transportation Required
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Azure
Ability to work within Windows Active Directory
Knowledge of MacOS and Windows Operating Systems
Experiencing working within a Helpdesk Ticketing System
Experience with Virtualization technology
