ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Finance / Accounting –
    • Manage bill entry and payment for the church, school, bookstore, and rectory
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Reporting & analysis
  • Communications/Social Media
    • Website management
    • Facebook management
    • Assisting with weekly bulletin
    • Quarterly newsletter - content and layout
  • Administrative work
    • Filing
    • Mail merge
    • Occasionally answering phones and assisting office visitors with questions
  • Parish Projects
    • Miscellaneous projects and needs that arise in the office and around the parish

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Bookkeeping proficiency in Intacct software is a plus, but on-the-job training is also available.
  • Administrative experience is a plus.

The parish office environment is laid back but busy. You will especially be a good fit for this position if you enjoy becoming integrated into the lively parish community. Flexibility and adaptability will greatly benefit you in this position.
