The Assistant to the Business Manager will provide support to the business manager and parish office staff at St Leonard Church in the North End. While duties vary, a consistent piece of the job is handling payables and receivables. This position is 25-35 hours a week, during normal business hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance / Accounting –
Manage bill entry and payment for the church, school, bookstore, and rectory
Bank reconciliation
Reporting & analysis
Communications/Social Media
Website management
Facebook management
Assisting with weekly bulletin
Quarterly newsletter - content and layout
Administrative work
Filing
Mail merge
Occasionally answering phones and assisting office visitors with questions
Parish Projects
Miscellaneous projects and needs that arise in the office and around the parish

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Bookkeeping proficiency in Intacct software is a plus, but on-the-job training is also available.
Administrative experience is a plus.
