Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Institutional Giving to work in a hybrid capacity along with the option to work from one of our offices.
The Director of Institutional Giving will lead our efforts to strengthen and expand funding partnerships with private foundations and corporations. Working closely with senior leadership and program staff, she/he will provide agency-wide leadership for a comprehensive institutional giving program. This position will be responsible for maintaining and growing the pipeline of institutional donors, cultivating, and stewarding current and new funders, as well as writing proposals and reports.
Qualifications include
Demonstrated success in writing grant proposals, letters of inquiry and reports to foundation and corporate funders; ability to synthesize program concepts into compelling proposals and reports
Experience with building a pipeline of institutional donors
Proven ability to develop and implement a program of donor cultivation and stewardship
Self-motivated, ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail and deadlines; ability to perform successfully without close supervision.
Very strong verbal and written communications skills, organizational and analytical skills and project management skills
Proven ability to build and manage a highly effective team
Flexibility and a sense of humor
Interest in and commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities
At least six to eight plus years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
