STUDENT MINISTRIES:
You will have overall responsibility for communicating the vision, mission and values of Student Ministry and lead the overall ministry to students at the Watertown Campus. You will:

Model a relational student ministry. Recruit, develop, train, and lead a strong team of qualified and committed volunteer leaders.
Partner with parents to assist them in discipling their kids.
Participate as a member of the Watertown Campus Team to integrate student ministry into the life of the Watertown congregation.
Work collaboratively with Student Ministry staff from the other campuses to create a consistent and well-integrated student ministry environment across Grace Chapel. This includes designing, planning, and executing weekly gatherings, discipleship and leadership development opportunities.
Transition and assimilate students from Childrens Ministry into Student Ministry and then into post high-school life.
Create connections in the schools and community organizations that serve students in Watertown and the surrounding towns
Provide organizational leadership and accountability for student ministry planning, budgeting, etc.
Monitor key performance metrics and partners with campus teams and central teams to develop strategies to grow attendance and reach new families and students.
Develop short- and long-term strategies to ensure student engagement and exceptional transformative experiences for students and leaders.

Participate in the staff life, responsibilities, and activities of Grace as time permits.

You are a gifted and energetic team-builder and inspirational leader, who can effectively recruit, develop, and equip a team of volunteers.,
You have strong relational skills and can teach and communicate effectively with students and parents in multiple settings.
You are proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to last-minute development typical of working in a church.
You have strong computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Products, database software) and you can adapt and learn new web-based applications.

Education & Experience

You should have at least 5+ years experience working with Young Adults and/or Middle School and High School students and be experienced in Student Ministry either as a long-term volunteer or paid staff member.
Bachelors Degree is required, A Masters Degree is a plus.
A continuous learner with a strong theological and Biblical foundation that enables you to apply Biblical truth to the lives of students in age-appropriate and culturally relevant ways.
