Saint Julia Parish in Weston is seeking a faith-filled individual with strong organizational and communication skills to work collaboratively, with our Faith Formation Team, for Grades 7-10 students. The position is Part-Time, approximately 8-10 hours a week, over the academic year. The Faith Formation schedule follows that of the school system and would require an onsite presence for approximately 20 Sunday Liturgies and Formation Sessions (9a.m-12p.m). Other hours are open to be structured both on and offsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Faith Formation Team
Assist in the recruitment and development of volunteers
Coordinate Liturgical participation of students with Parish Masses
Implement Grade specific Faith Formation Curriculum
Review and promote retreat opportunities
Communicate with families via our website, bulletin and various social media regarding programs and activities
Qualifications:
Faithful Roman Catholic in good standing,
Experience in Faith Formation,
Education, Pastoral Ministry, or related field.
