POSITION SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Input weekly offertory envelopes and donations in the ParishSoft/ConnectNow database.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly Mass Count Spread Sheets & record totals. Prepare and complete Annual RCAB Mass Count Report.
  • Order and organize annual change of missalettes for Collaborative.
  • Review and submit annual offertory/collections schedule to OSV and Cathedral Corp.
  • Assist with coordination on any financial bulk mailings.
  • Assist with weekly Online Giving parishioner calls.
  • Assist with archiving various financial data.
  • Assist Business Manager and Catholic Appeal Coordinators at all 3 parishes with preparation and execution of annual Appeal.
  • Coordinate certifications for volunteers and Staff; i.e. ServeSafe, first Aid/CPR, Defibrillator
  • Coordinator of Parish Safety ministry and PGC.
  • Organize churches with proper supply of offertory envelopes, campaign materials, etc.
  • Filing of paid Invoices for all 3 churches.
  • Assist Business Manager with other tasks as he deems necessary.
  • Assist Pastor with other tasks as he deems necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A practicing Catholic in good standing.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures, policies, and applications.
  • Ability to set priorities, organize and accomplish various tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven accuracy in composition, typing and record keeping.
  • Strong computer proficiencies: Microsoft Office 365, Intacct, Quickbooks, Excel, electronic calendars,
  • database software and other office leading software programs.
  • Proficient in email and texting.
  • Ability to work closely with various volunteers or many different committees.
  • Ability to relate to the variety of persons who are part of the parish communities.
  • Ability to apply a pastoral approach to administrative responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate initiative and teamwork.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Occasional weekend and/or nights may be required.
  • This part-time job consists of the normal 15 hours/week.

PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE ELEMENTS:

  • Ability to use a computer keyboard for up to 8 hours/day.
  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours/day.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
