Qualifications include:
A minimum of an associate’s degree or High School/HiSET equivalent with advanced skill or experience.
Experience working with or providing services to target population and/or infants/young children.
Demonstrated knowledge about infant, child and adolescent development.
Bilingual ability to speak, read and write in English and Spanish.
Good listening and assessment skills; ability to identify family strengths/needs and ability to establish trusting relationships.
Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Ability to work using a team centered approach to meet the needs of the program and its participants.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs. without mechanical assistance.
Understanding of outcome-oriented prevention models.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with good typing and computer skills.
Ability to work evening and weekends as required.
A reliable vehicle is required with a valid driver’s license, registration, and safe driving record.
Use of own car and adequate insurance coverage per Catholic Charities policy.
