St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Dedham, MA, is a faith community of over 2,000 families just outside of the Boston area. We are seeking a faithful and passionate Catholic for full-time employment as LifeTeen Coordinator in order to lead our well established and vibrant LifeTeen community. The successful candidate will be the one who strives to lead a life of personal holiness and expresses a heartfelt desire to lead teens closer to Christ. The position is responsible for overseeing the high school program including sacramental preparation for Confirmation.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of three year’s experience in LifeTeen youth ministry and be open to working with teens in grades 9-12.
Organization, management, and programming skills in such areas as religious education, spiritual development, social interaction, and Confirmation preparation.
Good communication skills, including social media and computer knowledge.
Ability to empower, lead, and work with an adult ‘Core’ team of volunteers who work directly with the teens and with the support network of parents and volunteers.
Ability to work in collaboration with the Pastor, Parochial Vicar, and Parish Staff
