We are looking for a self-motivated adult to participate in Faith Formation and Youth Ministry for grade 1-12 students in the St. John St. Paul Collaborative in Wellesley, MA. The role can be structured in a variety of ways and we are open to candidates who are looking for a part-time role, approximately 5-15 hours per week that can include some of, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:
- be on-site most Sundays
- be on-site most Wednesday afternoons
- assist with and support our current Youth Ministers
- assist with and support efforts at our 9AM Sunday Family Mass
- assist with and support efforts at our 5PM Sunday Youth Mass
- assist with and support our Religious Education classes for grades 1-10
- assist and support in our sacrament celebrations and rehearsals (First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation)
- assist with and support our periodic retreats for Confirmation and First Communion
Qualifications
- Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Education or related field (or working towards one) preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic and energetic attitude
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Google software including but not limited to Sheets, Docs, Forms etc.
- Knowledge of ParishSoft software a plus
