ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure that all staff receive supervision in accordance with approved guidelines. - Provide supervision directly unless alternate plan is agreed upon with the Director.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program including oversight of staffing schedules and programming.
- Coordinate services with other components of the Teen Center program.
- Ensure safety and program quality.
- Participate in community initiatives and represent the program in the community.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with other community providers.
- Participate in all support services case reviews.
- Ensure the collection and documentation of all needed program and outcome data.
- Ensure that documentation is meeting best practice standards.
- Participate in the training of own staff and in region and agency wide training programs.
- Prepare, submit, and enter on the computer (using ETO software) regular statistical reports.
- Participate in the writing of RFR’s and contract proposals as needed.
- Complete own program, regulatory, and agency documentation and oversee compliance with program, agency, and regulatory documentation by staff.
- Coordinate and supervise basketball and soccer leagues twice a year.
- Encourage participation of all youth in the program.
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in community and internal and external meetings as required.
- Other related responsibilities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma and 3 years of prior experience working in adolescent services. - Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledgeable of sports and wellness activities.
- Skilled in a wide variety of conflict resolution and mediation techniques.
- Experience working with community resources and familiarity with the community being served.
- The language capacity to serve the specified community.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively within the community.
- Interest and ability to engage youth and encourage participation in relevant activities.
- First Aid/CPR and Lifeguard training.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Internet skills.
- A driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
