Program Statement: Each year thousands of young people from across eight counties of the Diocese of Cleveland participate in 11 sports offered through the Diocese of Cleveland CYO Office. In the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), the athletic competition gives each participant an opportunity to grow in character, ability, and community while honoring oneself, as well as one’s family, teammates, officials and church. The CYO in Northeast Ohio is part of Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland. As such, the program promotes the values of Dignity of Person, Hope, Service and Justice to all those whom we come in contact with each day.
What you will do:
Supervise and attend indoor and outdoor athletic events
Develop, enforce and evaluate rules and policies
Schedule events and staffing
Promote events with designing fliers and other promotional materials
Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
CYO Program Operations that will include as assigned: site visits and Site personnel supervision; CYO Championship Tournament assignments; Conflict Management; Program Supply and Inventory management
CYO Sport and Program leadership as assigned
Experience
Required
1 - 2 years: Athletic Software Skills or advanced computer skills
5 year(s): Sports Programming Experience

High School or better
