Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in education or a related field

  • An Ohio Department of Education (ODE) teaching credential or is willing to complete the requirements for certification

  • Strong classroom management

  • Agrees and supports the BCA Statement of Faith and Employee Lifestyle Statement.

Requirements:

  • Teach approved curriculum

  • Fulfill normal work expectations of the teacher which include, but are not limited to effective teaching and supervision of students, preparing/submitting lesson plans, varied assessments of students, providing extra help, conferencing with students and parents

  • Guide students in appropriate behavioral and social development using approved classroom management techniques

  • Attend and participate in all professional development training and faculty meetings

  • Agree to abide by school policies and procedures

  • Demonstrates a reasonable level of computer literacy and is willing to integrate technology into the classroom (Google Classroom, Chromebooks, etc)

  • Promotes a positive attitude about the school and its employees and students

  • Commits to excellence, efficiency, customer service, and the school’s shared values

  • Evidence of an authentic and active Christian walk, including regular attendance at a church that has a statement of faith consistent with the school’s statement of faith.

  • Proficient teaching skills in a classroom environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Strong ability to multitask and lead a classroom

  • Ability to lead with a Biblical Worldview

Positions are full time with an annual salary commensurate with experience and degree(s) held. In addition benefits are offered.
